Beach Love

When I met you after two years,

It hit me how much I missed you,

The beautiful white sand,

Gentle breeze caressing my face,

The Blue Dark sky,

And the waves played a beautiful band!!!

You reminded me of how much a beach girl I am,

My heart fluttered around,

Sitting in the warm wet sand,

I felt cradled by your sound !!!

As I met you,

Slowly stepping in your embrace,

The cool touch of your water,

At my feet invoked grace !!!

I felt so awakened,

As if my soul screamed of joy,

My heart opened up,

And I let the tears freely flow by !!!

I am filled with immense gratitude,

And I miss you already so,

You are where my heart is,

Till then I shall cherish your memories to go!!!

As I sit looking at the sky,

Every little memory comes flashing by,

Every time you looked at me,

Your eyes always sparkled with glee!!!

Every little thing I asked for,

Was granted to me,

Through Ups and Downs,

You strongly held me!!!

You always let us do what we want,

You quietly heard out,

Our random rant!!!

You taught us to respect,

And treat others right,

To stand for ourselves,

And put up a fight!!!

You made us believe,

We can be what we want,

Gave us the strength,

To lose and retrieve!!!

The pat on our back,

Your words of advice,

Made us become,

What we are today

And when you look at us three,

Definitely not bad I say!!!

I still feel your presence,

In fact a lot closer no,

Be it the little things,

I know you’re watching from above!!!

We have been so blessed already,

To have parents like you

And I hope we make you proud

Of whatever in life we do!!!
